PosAbilities is a respite program for after school and Saturdays. PosAbilities has an arts-with-education focus, bringing music, visual, and dramatic arts to individuals of varying ability levels.

Also taught in this program are culinary and artistic food prep and layout, literacy and book writing, visual arts currently being accepted into local galleries including Bridge Gallery at the U of R, picture framing and matting, science programs and experiments, astronomy studies and transition skills. We start the transition skills from ages 6-up to prepare for the working and independent world.

The PosAbilities respite program has internships from Nazareth, SUNY Brockport, RIT, St. John Fisher, and MCC, and is a listed practicum site for the U of R Warner School.

In-Home Behavioral Consultation Services provide short-term (6-12 months) comprehensive behavior management services to cognitively and/or developmentally disabled youth and their families. Our team of MMSW's, MSW's, behavior specialists, psychologists, mental health counselors, and human development specialists visit the home and the family to address challenging behaviors using cognitive behavior techniques to minimize these behaviors. This is a Family Support Services (FSS)
funded program.

Future Abilities (Pathway to Successful Transitions) is a program of the Future$ collaboration that aims to endow developmentally disabled individuals with the skills they need to make successful transitions into the working and independent world.
